My test is pretty simple. Can I thank God for this and explain it without embarrassment? If tattoos automatically [sent people to hell](https://forum.victoriousinprayer.com/t/what-is-hell-really-like/1658), half the worship team at my old church would have needed laser removal before they could sing ‘Amazing Grace.’ I watched a friend wrestle with getting a small Psalm reference tattoo after losing his brother. He prayed, talked to a couple mature believers, checked his motives, and waited six months. That helped me see why two Christians can read the same Bible and land in different places. One may be acting from faith and gratitude while another might be chasing attention or rebellion. --- _[View the full topic](https://forum.victoriousinprayer.com/t/are-tattoos-and-piercings-a-sin/1667)._
