Once a persecutor of the very faith he would come to champion. Stands as one of the most awe-inspiring testimonies of redemption in all of Scripture. If God could take a man who held the coats of those who stoned Stephen and forge him into a vessel so mighty that even the forces of darkness trembled at his name, how much more can He sanctify and renew the heart of anyone who turns to Him in genuine surrender?
The same fire that consumed Saul on the road to Damascus burns still for every soul that dares to lay down its past at the foot of the Cross. God does not merely forgive. He refashions. He does not simply pardon. He purifies.
The Lord who turned a persecutor into a pillar of the Church is the same Lord who declares over every repentant heart, “Behold, I make all things new.” Let no voice of accusation, whether from man or from the enemy, speak louder than the decree of the Almighty. When God has washed you clean, who shall call you unclean? When He has written your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, who shall erase it? Stand firm, sister, for the One who began this good work in you is faithful to complete it. Your commitment to purity from this day forward is not hypocrisy.
It is prophecy. It declares to the world that the kingdom of God has come near. Transformation is real. No chain of the past can hold what Christ has set free.
