Song of Solomon 4:7 Meaning?

My personal takeaway from Song of Solomon is permission to be less rigid. It lets appreciation grow naturally instead of turning everything into rules and restrictions.

I’m not claiming this is pure Biblical truth, just my own reading.

Letting go of self-concern made this verse land for me. Once I stopped measuring myself against what I lack or what others have, I could hear the bridegroom’s words as spoken to me.

‘No flaw in you’ means trusting His verdict over ours.

Trusting the ‘altogether beautiful’ verdict. Maybe that’s walking by faith, not sight.

Even when guilt keeps whispering otherwise.

The allegorical reading is a thing. Lots of people see Song of Solomon as showing God’s love for the church. But thinking about it more, you made a good point. Spotless. That’s how we’re seen in Christ.
