I think we overcomplicate the signs God is speaking to us. A conversation with a friend that lands exactly where your heart needed it, or a door closing and the peace you feel making zero logical sense.

Would I still believe it if it pointed somewhere I didn’t want to go? That’s the test for me.
And the peace is easy to fake. Relief at dodging something hard feels a lot like peace from God, but the real thing usually points at some obedience you’d been putting off.
Specific conviction is one of the clearest signs for me. A timely conversation or a peace I can’t explain might get my attention too. But I recognize God’s voice most when it leaves me more humble and more aware of the person in front of me.
I think for me the biggest sign is I consistently feel HIs presence and blessing working in my life.
