I keep getting these moments where a wave of warmth and electricity moves through my whole body. Hard to describe really but it feels… intense and divine. I wonder if it’s the Holy Spirit making His presence known.
What does the Holy Spirit feel like for you?
I’ve had the warmth-and-electricity thing, maybe three or 4 times in 20 years, usually during corporate worship. Our nervous systems can produce goosebumps for a good movie trailer too.
The better test is the fruit afterward, whether it leaves you more patient, more honest, more drawn to prayer and less self-focused. If so, you’re meeting the Spirit, wave or no wave. There’s a whole thread on that here: Can You Physically Feel the Holy Spirit?
The feeling doesn’t show up with a ‘sent by God’ label on it. What helps me more is watching what comes after. Does it pull me toward Jesus and repenting, or do I want the next spiritual buzz?
Nothing wrong with being thankful for the moment. I’d hold it loosely.
