I dated a guy who could lead a Bible study like a pro and then got weirdly nasty with a waiter over a cold appetizer.
Teachable is what I’d look for in a godly man.
My mentor says Jesus picked men who were willing to follow Him and be changed. A guy who can take correction without getting defensive and owns his sin is going to look more like Christ in ten years than he does now. Job and income matter a lot less to me.
The little bit of power he already has, that’s what I watch. Whether he protects people and tells the truth or needs to be the main character in every room (see this thread).
