What qualities should you look for in a Christian wife?
I saw we had a thread on the other side of this so let’s balance the scales a little.

Let Us Pray For You
Your prayer matters. Have thousands of Christians around the world offer a prayer on your behalf. Our unique prayer submission will spread your prayer to Churches, Shrines, prayer groups and holy sites around the world.
The qualities in a Christian wife are the same ones that make anyone a good spouse. Faith that shows up in how she treats people, honesty, patience and the ability to forgive and work through conflict without keeping score.
Proverbs 31 describes a woman running a business and making her own decisions. I’d watch how she talks about people who aren’t in the room, and how she handles being wrong. It takes longer to see whether her faith is her own or something she inherited and never examined, but that tells you more than whether she volunteers at church. The list you’re hoping she meets is a good one to hold yourself to as well. Most of the solid marriages I know were two people who each came in working on their own stuff.
Same convictions on money, kids, how involved you’ll be at church… mismatched convictions on those practical things end up shaping daily life sooner or later.
And a good potential spouse doesn’t let parents or church leaders run the marriage.
An ordinary Tuesday tells you more than how she acts at church. Does she keep the small promises, and how does she handle it when plans fall apart?
I’d also want to know if she prays about real decisions and goes along with Scripture when it costs her something.
Been trying to work on not keeping score in my own friendships this year, and that list hit a little too close to home.
Holding yourself to that same list sounds humbling, but give it a try for a month and you’ll notice your own blind spots fast.
A mix-up over a canceled trip, ten minutes tops, showed me more than months of Sunday small talk did.
On Scripture costing her something, losing money is one thing but a relationship she doesn’t want to lose is a whole other thing.
